Tongue Tie Support Group
You don’t have to walk this road ALONE! Join Dr. Brita, Dr. Nicole, Dr. Rebecca, and Maura Mooneyham (OT) for our monthly free tongue tie support group. Gain support, resources, connection and peace of mind no matter where you are in your infant’s oral tie journey.
Our “Why”
Brita, Nicole, Rebecca and Maura are all moms first and providers second. While we love bringing our professional expertise as therapists to the group we also show up with a deep personal understanding of the impact of oral ties on not only infants, but the entire family. We set out to create this group based on our own experiences. We know what kind of support parents deserve and we hope to provide that for families in the Denver area. This group is open to all infants under 1 year and their families no matter where you are on your journey with oral ties. We hope you can join us!

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where families navigating tongue tie concerns feel seen, validated, and connected. We believe no parent should walk this journey alone. Through peer support, shared experiences, and access to trusted resources, we empower families to make informed decisions for their babies’ well-being.
-
The Tongue Tie Support Group is a free, twice-monthly gathering for parents and caregivers who want to better understand tongue ties and their impact on feeding, development, and family life.
While our team can offer screenings and share general information, this group does not provide full evaluations or treatment. Instead, our focus is on:
🤝 Connection – Meeting other families who understand your challenges.
💬 Validation – Sharing stories in a safe, judgment-free environment.
📚 Resources – Learning about local providers, therapies, and evidence-based information.
🌱 Encouragement – Offering hope and practical tips for the road ahead.
-
Open to all pre-walking infants and their caregivers. Whether you’re newly exploring a possible tongue tie, preparing for a procedure, or adjusting after release, you’ll find community and compassion here.
